Publication Process

The Qaiwan Journal of Science (QJS) is ensuring a transparent, efficient, and rigorous publication process. Below is an outline of the steps involved:

  • Submission
Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal's guidelines and submit them electronically through the online submission system. The manuscript must be formatted correctly, include all required information, and adhere to ethical and referencing standards.
  • Initial Screening
Once submitted, the editorial team conducts an initial review to ensure the manuscript complies with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors for revision before further processing.
  • Peer Review
The Qaiwan Journal of Science employs a double-blind peer-review process to maintain objectivity and fairness. The manuscript is assigned to subject matter experts who assess the research's quality, originality, and significance. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations regarding the manuscript's suitability for publication.
  • Revision
Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback. Revisions must address all comments and suggestions clearly, and a response letter should accompany the revised submission, detailing the changes made.
  • Editorial Decision
The editor evaluates the revised manuscript and reviewer comments to make a final decision. Manuscripts may be:
    • Accepted without further changes.
    • Accepted with minor revisions.
    • Returned for major revisions and additional review.
  • Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting to correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting issues. Authors will receive page proofs to verify and approve before publication.
  • Online Publication
After final approval, the manuscript is published online as part of the current issue. Articles are made freely available under the journal’s open-access policy, ensuring global accessibility.
