Manuscripts submitted to the Qaiwan Journal of Science (QJS) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. This ensures the anonymity of both authors and reviewers, fostering an unbiased and objective evaluation.

Reviewer Responsibilities and Steps

Reviewers are expected to adhere to the following steps during the review process:

  1. Respond to the invitation to review within one week, either accepting or declining.
  2. Upon acceptance, access the provided link to download the manuscript.
  3. Complete the online review form with detailed feedback.
  4. Submit the final decision, selecting from options such as Accept, Decline, Accept with Revisions, etc.

Key Evaluation Criteria

When reviewing a manuscript, reviewers should consider the following aspects:

  1. Originality of Results
    • Ensure that the manuscript presents original and authentic research by the authors.
    • Confirm that the content is free from plagiarism and has not been previously published.
    • Studies replicating results, such as new clinical trials, may be acceptable if justified.
  1. Experiments and Methodology
    • Evaluate whether experiments and analyses adhere to established technical standards.
    • Check that methods, experiments, and reagents are thoroughly documented to support reproducibility and accurate conclusions.

    • Ensure the authors provide clear explanations of their findings and their implications.
